I'm a member of the Crow's Creet Primitive Gatherings forum and they are going to be doing a Christmas ornie swap. I really hope a lot of people join as I have never done a swap before, and I think it would be a lot of fun.
Now, I have a silly question. For those of you who have done ornie swaps before, is it ok to sign the ornies you make? You know, so the receiver will know who made that particular ornie?

Hi Andrea,
ReplyDeleteI've never done an ornie swap but if I did I would love my ornies to be signed by the maker. It would make them all the more special to me. Just my thoughts. Hugs, Loretta
Thanks Loretta! I appreciate your comment. I'll be signing mine then for sure! :-)
ReplyDeleteSign away! It would be awesome to have a signed ornie. Who knows....it might be worth a fortune someday! I have been lurking on your blog...I love it! And your background!
ReplyDeleteHi Andrea! Welcome back! So glad to see you're back online. I often wondered how you were getting on and if you'd ever get back. :)
ReplyDeleteYes I would definitely sign my swap. I'm doing a Christmas swap on another blog and I'll sign mine.
Oh YES! It's very desirable to receive ornie signed by the maker and/or designer.
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone for your imput! I, too, think signing is a good idea, because years from now you can look back and think "Oh yeah! That's who made this!"
ReplyDeleteHi, I always sign my pieces. Also, when I send gifts (ornies) to old customers I signed the pieces. I am agree with Loretta, they make them special to the new owner.
