Purely Primitive Dolls craft book

A few days ago over on the Mercantile Gatherings Magazine Facebook page, they mentioned a craft book called Purely Primitive Dolls: How to Make Simple, Old-Fashioned Dolls. It's by Barb Moore of The Primitive Oswald.

The book hasn't been released yet, but it set to do so in July, and you can pre-order the book on Amazon. It looks like it would be a fun book to have, whether you're new to primitive crafting or have been crafting a long time. I don't really know anything more about it though.

Anyway, I just thought I would pass that on in case anyone else is interested.

I'm still here :-)

Hi everyone! Just thought I would quickly post to say I haven't disappeared. I just have taken a little break. I'm hoping to get some new things made soon since I haven't made anything the past couple of months.

Today is my sweet daughter's 8th birthday. I have to get her cake made today, and I am hoping I can decorate it the way I have it pictured in my mind. I need to go buy some frosting though as the frosting pack that comes with the cake mix never seems to be enough. After I get back home and get the cake started, I need to clean the house, as my in-laws will be coming over for my daughter's birthday.

A busy day for me. So, until next time.......

Extreme primitive Sunflower doll

Made this last week from a pattern by Catnap Primitives. This doll took me quite a while to make. Don't have a name for her so she's just a sunflower doll. How un-original LOL!

She'll be up in my Etsy shop soon.

Extreme primitive Honeybunch and Clarabelle

Honeybunch and Clarabelle - an extreme primitive pattern by Pineberry Lane. I had a lot of this made a while back, but then I lost some of the body parts, and had to make them again. I'm glad to have this all finished.

Caswell and his Crow

I made this from a pattern by Crooked River Mercantile. I've had the body made from quite some time, but decided to finally get it finished. I think it turned out pretty good. Will be going up in my Etsy shoppe.

Bird Watcher prim kitty

This lil kitty has gone bird watching. A tiny kitty at only 6 inches across. I plan on making other types like this one. He's in my Etsy shoppe! A Peppercorn Primitives original.

Cheery, Spring Kitties

A trio of Spring kitties. I think they turned out cute. I hope they will add a bit of cheer to someone's day! I chose not to coffee or tea stain them, although they might be ok tea stained. These are a Peppercorn Primitives original, and will be added to my Etsy shoppe shortly....

Etsy!

I am so excited! I can finally sell on Etsy! Since I am tired of waiting for my uploading program to be fixed, that I use to add things to my shoppe, I decided if I could sell on Etsy. I wasn't able to before because I don't have a credit card, and at the time, you needed one to be able to sell. But now you can sign up with using Paypal. So I am very happy. I think it will take some time getting used to all the features. There is a lot to take it!

Etsy link is added on the left sidebar. Seasonal things will be added for whatever season is around, if that makes sense. ;-)

Spring Bunny Pocket Doll

This lil guy is made from a pattern by Blue Moon Beginnings. A little bunny and fabric egg (used a pattern by KKL Primitives for the egg) are tucked into the pocket, and a little fabric tag attached. Bunny is made to hang. Will be added to my shoppe soon. Have quite a few things to add!
